- How can I contact ACTREC for treatment?

You may send any available biopsy or tissue reports, imaging or scan reports, and a brief summary of any previous treatment, if available. - How will ACTREC decide if treatment is possible?Your medical reports will be reviewed by the appropriate cancer specialist team at ACTREC. Based on this evaluation, we will inform you about treatment options and guide you on the next steps.
- Why do I need an Invitation Letter?
The Invitation Letter confirms ACTREC as your treating hospital and is required for applying for a Medical Visa to India. - What is the Medical & AYUSH Visa Portal?
This is an official Government of India portal used for Medical Visa processing. ACTREC completes this process on your behalf after receiving your details. A unique Medical Visa ID is generated, which is required for issuing the Invitation Letter. Patients do not need to register themselves on this portal. - Which visa should I apply for?
Patients must apply for a Medical Visa, and attendants must apply for a Medical Attendant Visa. Only these visa categories are accepted for treatment at ACTREC - Can I travel on a Tourist Visa and convert it later?
No. Visa conversion is not permitted in India. A Medical Visa must be obtained before travelling. - What happens when I arrive at ACTREC?
After arrival, you will be registered at the hospital and guided to the concerned doctor. Our Patient Navigation Team will assist you throughout your visit, including help with e-FRRO registration. - What is FRRO / e-FRRO registration?
FRRO registration is a mandatory government requirement for all foreign nationals in India. It must be completed within 14 days of arrival and is done online through the e-FRRO system. Our team will assist you with this process. - Where can international patients stay?
Patients may stay at the ACTREC guest house (Asha Nivas, subject to availability), nearby hotels in Kharghar, or rented accommodation in Navi Mumbai. Staying close to the hospital is recommended for convenience. - Do I need an Indian mobile number?
Yes. An Indian mobile number is required for hospital communication and FRRO registration. - Is any advance payment required?
Yes. An advance deposit of ₹2,00,000 (Two Lakhs) is required before admission or specialised treatment. This amount is separate from consultation fees, investigations, and medicines. - How much will my treatment cost?
Treatment costs depend on the type of cancer, treatment modality, and duration of therapy. An approximate cost estimate will be shared after medical evaluation. - Can my visa be extended if treatment takes longer?
Yes. ACTREC will provide the necessary medical documents to support visa extension through FRRO, if required. - What should I do before returning to my country?
Before departure, please ensure that all medical reports are collected, follow-up consultation is completed, FRRO details are updated, and future follow-up plans are discussed with your care team.
