Celebrating World Blood Donor Month June 2021
Emphasizing on significance of blood donation in times of Covid-19, Department of Transfusion Medicine (DTM), ACTREC in co-ordination with Public Relations Cell had organized a 2nd In-house Voluntary Blood Donation Camp 2021 on 30th June, 2021 at Retreat Multipurpose Hall, ACTREC.
The theme was resonant with the WHO’s theme for World Blood Donor Day 2021- “Give blood and keep the world beating.”
The Blood Donation camp had 51 individual voluntary registration amongst whom 44 successful blood donor units were collected from staff, students and doctors.
As a token of gratitude, felicitation ceremony was organized for all the camp organizers who had organized blood donation camps during the COVID 19 pandemic period for this noble initiative.
