I completed my Integrated M.Sc. in Biotechnology from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata and have qualified CSIR-NET JRF and DBT-JRF (Category 1). I have joined TNBC Precision Medicine Lab as a PhD student, under the guidance of Dr. Nandini Verma. My research area primarily focuses on investigating receptor and non-receptor tyrosine kinases and their crosstalk in driving drug resistance and metastasis in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC), the most aggressive and metastatic subtype of breast cancer. With over 50% of TNBC patients showing resistance to chemotherapy, my work aims to uncover molecular mechanisms contributing to these challenges. Outside the lab, I also enjoy sketching and singing.
