Understanding the role of epigenetic alterations in acquirement of chemoresistance in hepatocellular carcinoma.
I am investigating the epigenetic basis of the acquirement of chemoresistance in hepatocellular carcinoma. In this project, I'm focusing on alterations in histone post-translational modifications and histone-modifying enzymes. We are also testing different epi-drugs as a combinatorial treatment based on the differential epigenetic landscape in chemoresistant cells.
